After successful completion of this module:

• You know how to analyse facts using academic methods and findings from an academic and, as a rule, also from an operational point of view and to develop proposals for solutions.
• You are familiar with the academic working methods, argumentation techniques and requirements for academic work.
• You know what kind of preliminary work is required for preparing an academic paper, such as research in various media.
• You know how to familiarise yourself with new topics and to develop and evaluate alternative courses of action taking into account the available literature, the knowledge imparted and the formulated requirements.
• During the final oral examination, you are able to present the work approaches and results in a structured manner to a panel of experts and defend them in academic discourse.
